I’m Vince — the founder and writer of Sarcomere University™.

Sarcomere University™ is my personal passion project, created to combat misinformation and elevate the standard of science & health literacy.

I created Sarcomere University so others can have what I couldn’t; a clear-cut structured education about exercise science. Too often, learning about fitness or health online means sifting through pseudo-scientific claims, cherry-picked data, or content creators more focused on controversy than clarity. I’ve been there; led astray, confused, frustrated. That’s why I started building something different, something better.

Sarcomere University offers the most up-to-date and highest quality education about exercise science and human physiology, all for public access. The curriculum is structured deliberately; spanning across a plethora of physiology concepts and niche exercise science theory. Lesson articles will be posted on a weekly or biweekly basis, containing visual infographics and data. All publications and evidence used will be cited for you to critically analyze as well.

The alumni of Sarcomere University are the hardcore fanatics, the intensely curious. My goal is to make exercise science topics not just accessible, but meaningful. I don’t just want you tuning in for fun, I want you to understand. You’ll see that my lessons are grounded in evidence, connected by critical thinking, and that each article builds off the last.

While the fitness and health sphere is full of fluff and noise, here at Sarcomere University you will be equipped to tune all that out. When you understand the mechanisms and concepts, indisputably proven with evidence and data, you will never have to be uncertain again.

Whether you are a high school student, a professional athlete, or a layperson trying to get in shape. You belong at Sarcomere University as much as anyone else. That’s why I choose to make this project free access; it’s because my mission is priceless. I want to revolutionize the way we navigate understanding not just science, not just health, but even the discussions.
